I just spoofed a Samsung ms28 as a liteon 93450c. Everything works, plays games and so forth, but the drive spins so fast when it slows down you can hear the disk skidding on the inside it cant slow down as quickly.

Its clear its going to fast, is this normal or did i do something wrong? :duh:

No spoofing!!!!! keep the original drive type in the xbox. And that sammy is dying. Replace the whole drive is really all.you can do

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

I would be using the liteon, but my 360 xtractor pro went wonky last night and i think i might have burned up the liteon drive i had in it. I've brought several liteons back to life but this one i get nothing. So on top of losing my xtractor pro i think it took the drive with it. (already checked the fuses on the xtractor it and there good).
Had an old sammy laying around so i thought what the hell.

I did read spoofing sammys are really unsafe. I'll also take your warning and not use that drive, i was afraid it was kicking the can...
This piticular Xbox has always been a pain in my ass. Its the one where i installed the LT clip and switch on the liteon.

If that liteon drive is shot and you can't get the key from it or don't have the key already you rgh it and get the key that way. Would have to have the hdmi port to do so. Get that liteon key and another liteon drive and put that key on it you will back in business. If you don't how to do the rgh you could find somebody on this site that could do that for you. May or may not be worth it though for. I dunno. Good luck.

i flashed this Xbox awhile back, and i keep everything backed up including the keys. I might just buy another drive.
I'm still at a loss as to what happened to this drive in the first place though. My xtractor pro was starting to act funny, as soon as a drive was hooked up it would basically power down after about 4-6 seconds, remove the drive from it and it kicked back to life. Somewhere in figuring that out the drive i had hooked to it quit working.

If i swap the drive for another liteon does it need to be another 93450, or does it just need to be a liteon in general?
