Samsung MS25 strange error

Just updated and flashed an ms25 drive it has no problems playing copies but reads originals as a dvd and wont play. Drive was original non flashed updated to latest dashboard. Playing copies no problems but it wont read MW3 original.
Any ideas

Where did you get your firmware pack?

If you flashed back to stock would the originals play?

I got the firmaware pack from xbins as usual and if I flash it back to stock originals play fine and obviously backup then no longer work

Was this a MS28 or MS25 drive and was it spoofed correctly? Also, what dashboard?

Is on latest dashboard was updated online just before flashing and yes it spoofed as an ms25 correctly as well have flashed hundreds of 360's in the past and only had this error with this ms25 but most I flash these days are the Liteons seems very few of these old samsungs about.

Try spoofing it as MS28 just as a test.

After a certain update the MS25 becomes a MS28, so there's no need to spoof it as a MS25, hence there's no LT2.01 for MS25 drives.
Just flash it as if it is a MS28.

EDIT: Did some research, but I can't find a definitive answer.
Fact: For pre 13141 there's a MS25 and MS28 OFW, post 13141 there's only 1 OFW for all Samsung drives.
Fact: LT2.01 is for all Samsung drives, and AFAIK you need to insert the key manually, no spoofing.
Fact: After a certain update a MS25 drive will show up as a MS28 drive spoofed as a MS25 drive in JF.

I could be wrong, but hey, MS25 drives are pretty rare.

Found the problem microsoft had replaced the drive to an ms28 spoofed to a ms25 when it went for repair a few years ago so I reflashed to stock ms28 instead of ms25 then reflashed everything working sweet now thanks all.
