Hi all,

Am I reading this write. My handfull of orginals are quite old and were backed up using XBC with the samsung MS25, but the new firmware release does not include this drive.

I take it this drive is no good for backing up one of the new XGD3 titles through my PC with the 0800 v3 firmware. Will I need to either get hold of one of the other drives or even use my Liteon from my new slim drive which I flashed after Kamakazi hack and switch between the 0800 firmware for backing up and then reflashing the new to be released LT+2.0 for the LIteon

0800 v3 fw is only for "phat" drives, your gonna have to get a liteon or benq phat to rip originals

There isn't a 0800 v3 fw for the Sammy drives :frown:

Best bet is to get a Phat Lite-On drive and flash with 0800 v3 fw...they are not too expensive ;)

I don't think the 0800 v3 fw is made for the Slim Lite-On drives buddy :(

I never said there was, it states benq and lite-ons, thats why i put get a cheap benq off ebay.
