SAMSUNG MS28 Samsung ms28 Intro Failed

I think it is samsung spoofed as liteon.

I tried sammy unlock but intro failed.
I tried intro device but its just ..................... and no vendor mode.

What can I do to retrieve the key?

Why is it that it can play assassin creed 2? I thought spoofed drive cant play ap2.5.

using xusb360 and ck3

f/w rev is 7475. I tried older jf no go. ya the key appears but won't proceed to vendor mode

You can play assassins creed 2 because that is not ap2.5. Brotherhood is ap2.5. Have you tried the half tray open method. If that doesn't work you can also try the activate.iso method.

yup tried the half open and closed method. no joy.

I already got the keys. How can I inject that key to cfw? maybe I could use a lite on drive with the key?

I can't really put the samsung to vendor mode.

In jf click on manual spoofing and you can enter everything there.

use the sammy bad flash method to get it into vendor mode. its on here somewhere, or page 197 of JF tut

i used the probe 3 on this i first clicked intro / device then used the button on probe cable to power off (found that worked better than turning CK3 Pro off. I then probed the board then powered on board with button on probe cable. This sent to vendor mode 0x70, I then had to click Intro then read to get the key which i saved and used to update firmware.

In some occasions you need to try the bad flash method few times before it works. So long you are certain you're doing it the right way then keep at it.

shall I restart jf many times? or just keep on power cycling it? did it few times and I got ........................ sigh.

i hit intro. off the drive. click yes. probe. on the drive. then ................................

No need to restart JF. Last sammy I attempted took me about 7-9 tries and it eventually went into vendor mode. I tried different but short timing and in some occasions I removed the probe and placed it back.

Used via chipset. Clicked intro once and I'm on vendor mode in an instant. Hope they could fix xusb360 compatibility with sammy if the xusb360 is the prob. It was very frustrating

it dose seem a few ppl getting probs with the sammy MS28 i had it and i know there has been a few on here in the last month same probs but most of the time use JF 1.84 seems to work with the probe 3 unlock ..little odd maybe JF or usb360 but in the end we get there

there is nothing wrong with x360usb pro and samsung - the 3 different methods are already documented in the Samsung section - if you took the time to read them you'd know.

thanks uber. I will read about it. I don't want to be dependent in my via chipset. xusb360 is more convenient for me since I can bring it anywhere.
