Alright
I flashed my drive. I didn't receive any errors, and I backed up my ORIG.BIN file.

It plays original 360 games without a glitch. I burned a few .dvd and .iso using CloneCD at 2.4x, and they just seem glitchy. I used Memorex media also.

My problem. I have one game that seems to play when it wants. The other two give a dirty disk error. I've gotten my copy of Stranglehold to play after many attempts to get it started.

What am I doing wrong?

you can not talk about downloading games here.
they have to game you own and are backing up

you need to read the rules.

now that is said what firmware are you using.i did not have good luck with the news firmware.it did the same thing you are saying.i went back to a older firmware (v1.2 only not the revc) and things are fine.

Who said anything about downloading games :lol:

I flashed the drive using iExtreme 1.2 rev C.

Can I just flash it using 1.2 or will I need to flash it back with the ORIG.BIN and then flash it to 1.2?

right,that look better
you can just idump then iflash.you dont have to go orig first.

I found the answer to my problem, and it's the media that I burned my files to.

With my old Hitachi 78 I was able to use Memorex media, but now with the MS28 I'm not able to. I threw in one of my buddies Verbatim backups and it played with no hiccups at all.

good media and burn SLOW 2.4x
