I have a SAMSUNG SD 616 E and i want to know if this drive can read XBOX 360 games on my pc to make a back up. I think i also need a firmware update to do that, where can i get this? Thank you!!! i know that some SAMSUNG SD 616 works, but i don't know if this one! thank you!!

Is there any custom firmware for the samsung SD616T to read xbox 360 gameS? I've heard there is some, i know there is for that driver and xbox 1 games.

No, there isn't. You need one of the Kreon drives to read Xbox 360 games without hotswapping.

correct me if i am wrong but isn;t there a firmware hack for the samsung drive in xbox1

Yes, there is but it doesnt give you the ability to backup 360 games with it.
