Samsung TS-352H DVD-ROM Drive

Hi All,

I'm going to attempt to mod the Samsung TS-352H DVD-ROM Drive to work
in a chipped xbox.

This drive is the replacement for the 616T.

Before I start, anyone have any comments , ideas or info?

I'll definately post all information found out from my investigations here!

the whole issue is will the firmware from the 605(i think thats the right model) work in it? before you try any of the actual hardware mods to it, just flash the firmware on it and use a power splitting cable. the only one you may have to do is the motor reverse.

All resides as mentioned aboved in the Firmware... if you could flash it (and get it working) with the SD 605 firmware, and follow the instruction "xbox-scene" on how to mod the samsung DVD-Drive... you should be good to go!!
