Can't see the chipset - I doubt it is the one.

There's one on the UK Amazon - go to www.amazon.co.uk and do a search for "Newdigital 3 PORT SATA SERIAL ATA + 1 ATA PCI CONTROLLER CARD "

Thanks for the reply Vinomarky.

I have re-read the chart in textbooks tutorial and my mobo is as follows:

http://www.msicomputer.co.uk/Products.aspx?product_id=703546&cat_id=77

The spec says Intel® ICH5 Chipset

is this compatible to use as they are listed on the chart.

Thanks in advance. :?

For a unflashed MS25 you ICH5 will work, but if ou want to flash a MS28, or want to avoid having to use the Enable disk to reflash in future then you need the VIA 6421 card
