Have anyone try to mod a slim drive (or also only read the key)? what chipset do you use?

NOTE: The Xecuter X360USB PRO is 100% compatible with ALL drives - no need to mess around with SATA - just plug and play.

After you have your key & spoofed to Lt to write just go to the MTK Flash 32 tab hit Slim Unlock (Top Right) should unlock your drive then hit Write (Bottom Right)and thats it thats how I did it hope that helps...

one of my friend confirmed that via 6421 is fully compatible with 9504! :D
Of course it is thats no news flash. The VIA issues are with the 0225 - no one said anything about the 9504

the amount of mis information that gets put about is shocking - if only you read the official instructions and info none of this would happen.

As per request, the Controller i was successful with was a JMicron JMB36X series.

In the JMB6X family that all share the same driver:

JMicron JMB360
JMicron JMB361
JMicron JMB363
JMicron JMB366

Slim drive: liteon 0225
Sata chipset used: Intel ICH10R (first sata port on Asus P5Q Pro)
Action tried: get key in JungleFlasher 0.1.82.Beta (234)
Result: success; generated 5 bin files.

Problem: Had difficulties to get to vendor mode status (MTK Vendor Intro Failed, status 0x51 etc.).

Solution: Before clicking 'SlimKey' in DVDKey32 tab, i've done "ctrl + shift + F9" key combination.

I don't try "ctrl + shift + F9" key combination, what does it mean on JungleFlasher?

Read this thread.

In my case, without this key combination, it was impossible to get into vendor mode and dump key.

EDIT: Also - does nForce430 chipset even recognize 0225 drive?
The 'trick' obviously won't help if it doesn't.
