Ok i'm lookin for anybody who can help.I have a hitachi 47 drive and i'm lookin for the easiest way to flash my drive and be on my way to playin backups....i understand everything clearly and have modded my systems in the past but i'm confused about the whole sata situation.....

1.What pci card do i need to get that works 100% to do everything i wanna do with the hitachi 47?

2.I've seen the Datel Xsata that goes under your 360 hard drive and plugs into your usb port of the pc....if i get this will i be able to tranfer to my 360 harddrive to hack my 360 and do what i need or can you only transfer from 360 to pc and not pc to 360?If i can hack with this do i stil need a pci card along with it or can i just plug it in and hack away?

3.Sata to usb converter....what is this and if i get this will i still need to get a pci card or chipset or whatever along with it or will the sata to usb be all that i need?

if you need any clearing up on the question just let me know..basically i'm lookin for the easiest way to do this and wondering if i need a pci card/chipset no matter what or if these other things will work

was readin through your fourms and seems like this will work for me.Can anybody confirm that if i buy this i won't need a sata card/chipset?

also if that works....does the xsata work the same or no?I'm fine with the x360 usb to sata if it works but just wondering about xsata because it won't require me to take my 360 apart everytime i wanna do something with the hdd

The drive firmware hacks are for the DVD drives, not the hard drives. You will have to open up your 360 regardless.

The X360USB will work for what you want to do.
