Scratched DVD

hello guys,

i have a question ...is it possible to instal an ISO of game on XBOX HDD via USB conectivity kit so it will look like it is installed by XBOX ? ... i have scratched dvd which will boot .. but after 1.st mission it freezes...i think it might be possible to instal it on hdd and play game with DVD in dvd rom .

it is possible ?

Install via dash I do this all the time now since my son stuck 6 xbox games in the ps3. Even with scratches it installs pretty well.

it wont instal via dash .. it frezzes at 22%

I've personally tried this before with movie dvd's and it worked most of the time for me.

It might be marketed as something else in your country but in general its called brass polish or brass tarnish remover.

I've also had very good results using a nail buffer block to polish the disc,

most game shops or movie rental stores can remove most scratches.

I had this issue with MW2. My hitachi drive refused to read it when loading a few multi-player maps. I borrowed my room mates and installed the game using his copy. All it has to do is mount the disk and it will play from your HD.

Either rent it, or acquire a back-up and copy the back up to your hard drive.
