Server Change Delayed to Wednesday/Thursday

I was planning on changing hosting when I got my faster cable internet installed. I was hoping this would be installed on Monday. Because of the location of the family computer, I guess it needs more work and the guy that came out here on Monday said he can't do that. So now I'm waiting until Wednesday - hopefully then I will have some faster internet and then I'll be changing hosts. Just wanted to let you guys know what's going on.

Possibly, need to ftp everything to the new server first, and do a database backup/import on the new host. I'll test everything out first, make sure no accounts were lost or anything, test the forums / pm's / news / etc. If everything is working, I'll edit the DNS entries for the domain names then set up a page redirect on this server in the meantime. Reason for that is it usually takes 24 / 48 hours for the DNS to change.
