ok i had the same problem as you, i didnt look at my 360 first and just bought the stuff, but i got the whisper legacy fan which comes with the blue led lights on it, and i got the smart led storm v2 which comes with the remote controler. Now the fan i just plugged in where the old stock fan was in and that was that, but the smart led has the wire where u take the original dvd power out and plug in the led along with the new dvd power cord. So i did that and it worked fine the fan worked good and the leds on the fan worked great, and so did smart led, my only question is, using the power from the dvd for the smart led is that eventually going to be a problem? i dont really game alot like 24/7 like some people do, so its not like im using the hell out of it. I have an 08 elite 360 if that helps in any way. Thanks
