While doing a v1.6 I connected the alt 5v point on the wrong pin of the voltage regulator. This pin as most of you know is 12v. I think, to stop others from making the same stupid mistake I did, there should be a simple way for the X3 to detect this 12v and not work and/or fry the xbox. I'm also wondering if teh Xbox is completely fried. Thanks!

damnit why do people keep asking for it to be made easier!!!! the whole point of modding the xbox is the thrill of doing something difficult. well i guess the whole new functionality is the actuall reason but still the challenge is nice.
hahahahahahhaahahahahah. I install quite alot of chips and I'm asking this solely for people who might f**k up something like that as i did (stupid misake). Turns out only the X3 is fried and the box boots from the eject, simply fixed. I hardly thin kthis makes the install any eaiser, it just makes it harder to f**k up, thats all
