Hi, I am a total noob at this, but I was just wondering if you put the SLAX cd into the Hitatchi 360 drive for booting the pc from, or do you put the SLAX cd into you're computers cd/dvd drive to boot from? I just wondered because the guide I had read stated that you should have all other drives disconnected from the pc when the 360 Hitatchi drive is connected? Please help!!!

Hi, thanks for you're reply. I have read the guide again, in particular page 83 which is the part I am talking about. It says "Power on the Xbox 360 and PC at the same time. Boot the PC from the Slax CD and wait until you reach the login prompt." I just want to be sure that this means booting the pc using my pc's dvd drive whilst the 360 drive is connected, rather than booting from the 360 drive whilst no other drive is connected? Stupid I know, but someone I know knackered their 360 when attempting to flash it so I just want to be sure!

Thanks again

it means your boot priority in your pcs bios ie first boot device which should be set to cd/dvd rom and the slax disc goes in your pcs cd/dvd drive, and power them both on at the same time, if you struggling to understand that part, maybe you should read it through again and again untill it becomes crystal clear that you know what your doing.
