Slayers evoX auto installer v2.6

OK, I am almost in xbox modding heaven now BUT there is another matter that I cant quite get my head around yet.
I downloaded the [font=verdana, arial, helvetica]Slayers evoX auto installer v2.6 and followed instructions as to how to put it onto disc and everything went well, so I put my disc in the xbox and nothing happens because I am still in the X3 options screen, so I choose reboot to dashboard and it comes up my normal MS dashboard but a sign comes up and says that it cannot read the disc!!!!! what am I doing wrong????
Also do you HAVE to have another dashboard besides the original MS one???? (I know it is much better to have one)

p.s. It isnt the actual DVD disc that is bad cuz I use these ones all the time and have had no problem with them.

Those disc's that work fine in your other devices may not work in the Xbox do to limitations of the DVD drive set by the manufacture.

Personal Tested media: Princo (CompUSA) DVD-R 2x & SONY DVD-R 4x there are few more just check the forums for the other compatible medias.

I put my Slayers 2.6 on a Memorex CD-RW instead of DVD-R and it worked flawlessly. Booted it up and installed the full install to a large HD.

I would also like to say that I have no problem burning to an HP 8x DVD-R and all my games work fine. 4.7gb single layer that is, have not tried dual layer.

Go to X3 bios and reset all settings. Then reboot with the disc inside. I've also had this problem before, you just need to reset the X3 Live Config. Hopes this helps.
