Slight Problem with switch on 2.6ce

I have 1.6 with a solderless 2.6ce xapter the problem is i have mods for Halo 2 and they work fine..i go turn my xbox on with the switch for chip enabled to off before i turn the box on ..and the MS dash starts up perfect but when i go and play a new map over xboxlive my mods work...im assuming that with the chip off it should disable the mods so i wont get banned but this doesnt happen the mods still work...

is the switch the problem or is that just the way it works???

I don't think the Xbox knows you have modded your maps. Just don't try to use those maps in a public game on LIVE.

so that means that the switch wont disable the modded maps and let me play the maps as if they werent modded?

No, you changed the files on the hard drive. Turning off the chip won't change that.
