Hi

Hoping someone can help me out.

I have Kamikazi hacked 2 WINBOND's now so onto my 3rd being a LiteOn Slim FW0401 i have hit a problem.

I dumped then unlocked the drive and then wrote the LTPlus-0401-v1.92.bin mod to the drive then re-locked the drive and disconnected. Open / eject and close tests passed so plugged it into my slim but unfortunatly it doesn't ready backups or originals. Says Open Tray

Have i screwed this one? I used the knife method with 2 drives previously with no issues.

Thank you

As per JF tutorial.....Under DVDKEY32, select SlimKey then i selected No and dumped the dummy.bin and saved. i took another OFW later on once i received Status 0x00 i selected Read and dumped again. This one was used with LTPlus-0401-v1.92.bin in JF.

Thank you

Ribbon cable is fine firmly secured and even removed and reseated. I have also flashed back to 0401 stock and still not booting. When i insert a orig game i cant hear much movement.

Maybe i screwed it somewhere.

Im using the original 0401 PCB board so i havn't touchany cables.

So i have removed the back and top case of the drive and i can now see what the problem is. When i open tray place a game in then close the tray the laser is moving but the motor to spin the disk is not. So basically the disk is not spinning.

Any ideas or you reckon i need a replacement board?

Cheers
