What I have Done
  • Taped CPU_RST(Blue) into a loop
  • Cut Down CPU_RST(Blue) to a shorter length
  • Used the Alternate HANA connection point just incase i didnt get the first time
What I Am Trying Tommorow
  • Use Low Loss Shielded Cable
  • Try different Lengths of this Cable
I am Sure of
  • My Soldering is Good.
Anyways i booted it into Xell, and got the CPU key, and now it with the basic Dash. Tommorow i am going to try to improve the boot times, i have no idea what to do to improve it, I have 5 ft of Low Loss Shielded Cable. So i might aswell try that. My Other Problem is, It only boots on the Phat setting on the Coolrunner, if i set it to SLIM, the green light doesnt flash at all [ Red Light is on though ] and the fan speeds up alot. Takes an average of 1-2+ minutes to boot.

Can anyone Help?

Op: when you post pics can you make sure to edit and add them to 1st entry to make it easier for everyone trying to help, rather than placing them in a different entry other than the first

video doesnt show the solder points well enough , but the fan sounds constantly choppy, which is normally interference from the blue wire, try wrapping the wire in a few layers of insulation tape, put some on the board between the wire and the board itself and then again on top of the wire to stop interference from the chassis.

you get that noise if cable is too short. ive had one do that on a 50cm cable and thats how i resolved the issue!

What lengths did you try with the blue wire?

no one has bothered to point out his rats nest of wiring going on , the post out 1 and cpu rst lines on the video on bottom are also crossing one another. tidy up down on the under side and you might just be suprised. also why is your post_out1 (yellow) so long ? i could be wrong you could have used the 2nd yellow cable from the fat pack as your alternate stdby clk but either way you should avoid any wires crossing/laying over the blue one.

My slim trinity with rgh can take 2-3 minutes to boot to dash. Strangely if i switch the power off on the wall and then back on, it just boots within 5-20 seconds though.

I've just taken to leaving it powered off, because it's so much quicker. It must have something to do with interference if this is the case IMHO, was wondering if anyone else had noticed this?
