hi i bought a brand new slim trinity 30/5/11 a few years ago, cant remember exactly when and flashed it with lt 3.0 using kamakazee. never had any soldering inside console ever.
the console has hardly been used of 2 weeks and thats maximum, the wife wanted catch up tv so i set it up and shes watched half a dozen programs when the console started freezing within minutes of booting.
things ive tried.
1/ clear cache on hdd.
2/removed hdd.
3/ used usb flashdrive.
4/ no storage devices at all.
4/used different psu.
5/ changed from hdmi to component.
6/ differnt tv.
its on dashboard 2.0.17150.0 and the freezing is in a time scale of 1 to 10 minutes, never had anything blocking the fan..my launch day 360 slim has been hammered by the kids and its still fine.
not really that bothered as so cheap to buy now, but am suprised because of little use. have googled and from what ive read its jiggered unless anyone else has any ideas. TIA
