short answer , NOSo I opened up my console today to find that mine does not have the 4gb card. It is the matte model and was purchased May 2013. I thought the newer models had the removable card. Am I missing something?
why you would to remove it ? its already corona v2/v4/v6 and has built in memorySo is there any way to remove or disable the 4gb memory on this mobo? I'm sorry but I'm pretty new to this xbox.
What does the console say when you try and format the internal MU?Because it is corrupted to the point where I can't save anything to it. Including the xbox live update. It will no longer format.
Yep, you wouldn't have any issues. And I'll still be able to use it like a regular console? I just need to be able to get back on live. That's the whole issue here. Since I can't do the update I can't get on live.
Can you post directions / screen shots of what needs to be done on these consoles to do this?Yep, you wouldn't have any issues.
You need to swap the 4GB NAND with a 16MB NAND and change the resistor configuration to match a 16MB board. Can you post directions / screen shots of what needs to be done on these consoles to do this?
I'm Hoping its just removing the memory chip?
