Alright, I suffered this issue a while back on a stock motherboard and finally decided to attack it yesterday.

If your Xbox 360 Slims beeps my pressing Power and Eject but doesn't turn on (either no Lights, or Red Light). When trying to read my nand, it couldn't read it either. Chances are it's one of the three issues below.

If you're RGH, then it's mostlikely R4B24 that is blown. (33 ohms resistor).

If you're not RGH, then still test that resistor.

There has been some report of a bad ROL/RF board causing this issue, but I can't confirm.

In my case, it was the South Bridge. I first reballed the CPU/GPU with no Change. Reballed the SouthBridge and BAM!!! It's Alive!

You can try and reflow the SouthBridge if you want, but I don't waste time Reflowing. REBALL ALL THE WAY !!!

Hope this helps someone.

I'm in Canada though. Shipping wouldn't be too bad coming here, but sending back would cost alot. Goddamn Canada Post is so expensive.

Do you have a USB Nand reader? If so try it out. For mine, I was get a Flash Config of 0x00000000. If I pressed on the chip, I would get different value (can't remember).

Get in touch with WNYConsoles on here. He's in Buffalo. Heard does great reballing for decent prices.

Much appreciated for this, always wondered about what would cause this on a stock Slim. Starting to 'collect' no-power Slims and really haven't been able to isolate anything damaged, thought it might've been southbridge but since it's such a rare fault on phats I wasn't going to guess and start reballing unless I needed to.

Hopefully it works out for you. Might want to contact Harbinger076 to see if he wants you to do his. Wasn't sure if you reballed or not.

I've also had a Slim that wouldn't boot, no sound nothing which was the 3.3V Regulator. Previous owner just destroyed the AV port and somehow busted the regulator. Switch the regulator from another slim and it work. Only have HDMI on it, but that's all I need. Never been able to confirm the part number for a replacement though.
They are the same part, so if you suspect one to be bad, you can interchange them and check for votage. At least it will confirm if the regular is bad, or some other component.
Here is a picture of the 3.3V and 1.8V regulators:

Yeah, I'd bet it would be the southbridge, or there is also a chance of a f'ed up Nand chip.

I'm still working on a replacement part number for those as I've had at least one person ask about having 'em replaced. They're some sort of variable regulator since, as you said, they're the same part putting out two different voltages. There's a thread on here where J2G posted a possible replacement but nobody ever confirmed it as working.

I am getting 4v on the 3.3v regulator
and 3.4v on the 1.8v regulator per your pin assignment..

Hard to say if it's Southbridge related or not. I didn't check my voltages before I reballed it.

While trying to read your nand, try and apply some presure on the Southbridge. When I did that on mine, it would recongnize the Flash, but gave errors reading the nand. If it recongnizes the Flash while applying presure, that pretty much confirm that there an issue with the Southbridge. Wether there is another problem.... Who knows.

I have a quick question. My slim corona v2 recently got rgh'd. I sent it off to someone to do it and I just received it, it will not power on, but the power button beeps, and eject button beeps. I opened up the Xbox and found what looks like and oscillator bursted or leaked. Could this be the issue. I will include links to pics. Thanks in advance for anime that can give me advice.

Xbox 360 Slims trinity beeps by pressing Power and Eject but doesn't turn on... 33 ohms resistor - OK, 3.3V and 1.8V regulators - OK, Reballed the SouthBridge. It's just beeps and nothing more... Can't read nand. What I should check more ?

well, i found lots of beeping slims and havent found any cure yet.
what i've done :

1. reballed and replaced the HANA chip
2. reballed and replaced the SB chip
3. replaced the NAND chips
4. replaced the regulators
5. check for missing components

i guess there should be something else....

I've had one do this and I believe it turned out to be a small trace cut somewhere around SB but I'm having an issue with an unmodified v2 corona that I can turn on but the power and eject buttons don't work and it beeps and dings even with no faceplate plugged in weird thing is I found that if I just touch (no pressure) the top side corner of the south bridge at the little gold piece the console will turn off. I've confirmed this many many times and it always turns off so naturally I want to reball south bridge but the console runs though.

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place but if nothing else you can look for a small broken trace.

Few peeping slims here too. Trinity motherboards it is usually R4b24. But on a corona... just can not find what is causing the problem.
This console im working on right now is a xbox 360E I added a sound chip to it just to hear that it still chimes. 3.3v is present and i can still read and write 4gb nand. It started acting very weird. It used to shut down randomly. Then it sometimes would just stop working alltogether for some time. And now it does nothing. I have written back stock nand and removed all the wires. Just can not seem to find the problem.
If anyone has suggestions then im all ears.
