Hello, I've opened up my Slim for Thermal Paste replacement since it was a little too hot and case holding replacement since my older was in bad conditions, fine I did everything correctly...
When I've finished installing everything and I've plugged my power cord, the console beeped as ejecting, at a first thought (since I bought the case used) was that the flex cable was damaged and therefore it couldn't work, since it wasn't turning on too from the faceplate, but it worked from the controller, and opened/closed tray from dashboard... Ok so I've opened it AGAIN, and removed the flex cable and installed the older faceplate before removing it from the faceplate, because it was working flawlessly, it also GAVE me the SAME problem, eject beep and no start, only on controller (leds are working fine, no loss of connectivity on Wi-Fi controller, everything works fine except for the faceplate)...
Then I've gone to the "retailer" where I got the spare case and asked for a Flex Cable since his was damaged, he gave me another used one, I've came back, installed it and AGAIN the same problem, so I've decided to start the console without a flex cable attached, plugged power cord and the same problem, an eject SOUND without the flex cable plugged (WTF?)
Then I've decided to go further, and removed the RF board and plugged the powercord, the same beep of eject, lol...
So now I'm wondering, can it be a faulty resistor or something on the board or it's related to the Flex Cable? I mean I didn't got a new one since I've changed the case holding, I did ordered a new one from ebay but didn't arrived yet, but i'm wondering if this is a RF Module problem, a flex cable problem ou a Motherboard related problema, what do you guys think?
Also, when you turn XBOX 360 without a flex cable the default behavior is to beep eject?
Thanks in advance.
