I just have installed Coolrunner to slim and it won't boot if the CR is set to Slim.

If it is set to "Phat" it boots, 5-40 sec, usually around 25-30 sec.
Is this acceptable? Maybe i should shorten the blue wire?

Normal 60/40 Tin/lead solder. Wires the one that came with Coolrunner.
I did make the blue wire 10 cm shorter, now it boots with CR set to "Slim".

Its still boot slow sometimes, if i remove the power then plug it back in it usally boots within 5 sec.

Should i try make the wire even shorter?

If you can, get the Post QSB for easy booting optimization.
