Slim boot times

after trying endlessly to rearrange my wires so i can get boot times on a decent level, i come to a conclusion that it glitches how and when it likes/can. sometimes i get instant sometimes after 3-4 glitches. atm my blue wire is tangled into a loop like per guide, but ive tried to even pull it up into the board and loosly tie it into a "loose Bow" in which 70% of the time instant boot up happed.

what sort of times are people getting? and how have you positioned your wires etc?

mine went from 2 minutes to 15 seconds when I put electrical tape on the board under the wire and on the cage to cover the top side.

Mine boots within 10 seconds or can take up to 2 minutes

Would you be able to post a photo of your taping work?

I am getting boot times ranging from 5 - 45 seconds on my slim. My CPU_RST wire is 42cm long, wouldn't boot at 50cm.

lol. mine has never taken 2 mins to boot, always within 15 seconds maximum. ive moved my blue wire again and getting boots within 10 seconds now. xell boots instant, 100% of the time when i press eject also.

ive 2 coolrunners here and my coolrunner to nand x cable just arrived i was thinking of firing one in today to one of my boxes to check it out cant believe it can take 2 mins to boot.

It can, but it shouldnt! If it does something is clearly wrong, most generally boot in under 20seconds, and once you have moved the wiring to the correct spots it shuould be upto 10 seconds.

Can you show us some pics, how to put the bleu cable for a faster Boot?

I am busy with a costumer with 10 Slims for the RGH.

The Boot time on 5 Slims I've done for this costumer goes in 5sec. till 30sec..
