took off a slim cgpu to reball yesterday, clean lifted it and while i was cleaning the mobo my not so experienced assistant decided to try and help out and removed 10 pads on the chip, obviously wasn't amused when i saw him using a 200watt iron :facepalm: so told him to stick to doing his controllers for now.

mobo just needs another doner cgpu but what about the dvd key? surely you cant just reball one and reflow it back on?

You need the nandflash(nand chip if you can't flash the nand with a SPI) and dvdkey(dvd drive if you can't flash xbox drives) from the donor mobo.

thats what i thought so basicly dump the nand from the prepped board and doner board flash the doner boards nand image to the prepped board and use the dvd drive that comes with the doner or flash the key from the donor either way will sort it?
