LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM Slim Corona 2011 Laser Replacement

This seems to be the only place I can make a thread, unless Martin feels like removing this, then I guess it's not.

Anyway, I have a 2011 Corona v2, not sure if that matters, but to anyone who cares, that's the mobo.
The drive is a DG-16D5S, Lite-On. Already checked google, search, etc.

Would I be able to replace the laser from the slim, and put a lite-on laser from a phat in it? I really don't want to waste time to find out. They look similar, same company, simple yes or no will do fine.

I think slims use a Hop 15xx for lieton while phats use a Hop 141x for liteon/benq so i dont think the 2 are interchangeable.

Thank you, also figured out it wouldn't fit either. Ribbon cable for the slim is a bit bigger

sorry cant be used on a slim. but if ur looking I have some new lens on hand.
