I had my CPU_RST at stock lengh and booting at around 1 min doesn't matter how I place it so I shortened 7cm and again now it does boot in 5-10 seconds but only when I play with the wire when I leave static it doesn't boot

I add the 7 cm back and it boots but takes over a min again

Any advice???

i ended up shaving off 10cm total and routed it in the loop as the guides showed. i struggled with it for about 6 hours. my boot times are near instant IF i plug it in, then boot. if its powered off and still plugged in, it may take up to 30 seconds. i understand ohow frustrating this is. when u say if its statice it doesnt boot at all, but if its played with then it works? i assume u mean moving it while its trying to boot. ur body carries a charge and can create inductance, very small amount, but nonetheless, u may be seeing a product of this. im telling ya, check where the wires placed and try 40, 30 cm lengths. u might be surprised. good luck

I also have a very stubborn SLIM.

Got it to boot by shortening the wire to about 20-25 cm. Put a 33nF cap on a 1kOhm resistor in the middle.
Maybe a shorter wire is more resistant to electrical inteference. I didn't have to mess about with different wire positions just a single curl.

It now boots consistantly within 30 secs, which is good enough for me.

Of course you could also wait for the new QSB's
