hi, i have made RGH in a slim 4gb with sucess, instaled FSD and dashlaunch with sucess. but now when i boot the console normally does not take more than 20 seconds to glitch but does not boot immediately, first connect the contrloler and then after 20-30 seconds it boots normaly. what can be causing this delay??? i have heck and recheck the solders.

It is usually caused by the length of CPU_RST (long blue wire, soldered underside).

You could try the POST_OUT add-on board but aside from that, there really isn't much else you can do other than trying to alter the length of the wire.

40 cm dont have great effect, 30 cm does not even glitch.
honestly 30 seconds is not to bad... i beleive wire placment rather then length can also cause a difference, i generally take 3 fingers wrap the wire tightly as possible then tape it down as close to the xclamp as possible.. cover with kapton tape also.... add tape to the metal chassis to prevent interference i've done a handful of slims and they all seemed to boot with in 10 seconds with that method

It is not just trying 30 & 40. It can be "anything" inbetween. Otherwise giving the Post-PCB multiple different length would be pointless.

For me I even went best with 51 cm (PCB 50 with 9 cm wire) ... so you need to try more lengths. That is why the Post-PCB comes in handy.

If you follow the install guides and solder proficiently, RGH should boot between 5-10 seconds. You don't need to cut the wire. Just make the loop uniform. The install guides demonstrates where exactly the wire should be placed. If you place the loop somewhere else, glitch times will be delayed. If it takes longer than usual to glitch, turn off and it turn it back on. The CoolRunner has all the wires at exact lengths.
