Hi,
I'm reusing a slim DemoN from taken from a dead Xbox that won't power on. Before this DemoN was installed on the now dead machine, I used DemoN Toolbox to flash it to 1.04 as well as read/write a sample NAND.
Before reusing it, I'm doing some sanity checks to see if the DemoN is still good to use on another machine. From the Windows perspective, the DemoN looks fine in device manager when connected to the micro USB and the switch set to PC. But when I open up DemoN Toolbox, the status says 'not connected'. However, the DemoN works in J-Runner as I could read/write NAND on the micro USB with no issues.
I suspect that the firmware 1.04 isn't compatible with DemoN Toolbox 1.01, however I see no mention of this in the forums. I just want to verify if this DemoN is 100% before I install it on another machine and this behavior raised some doubts. Can someone check if a DemoN on 1.04 works with DemoN Toolbox? Should I still reuse this DemoN?
