I have a slim that would glitch w/in 5 sec out the case but once put in case it wont glitch.

You might have shortened it out when you put it in case, check your soldering make sure they are not touching case

I did my first slim the other day, and it was fine out of the case, but stopped soon afterwards once inside. The middle long screw that holds the metal case to the lid was done up too tight, which pulled the dent in the case up, putting pressure against the hole on te motherboard. The same hole which had 2 wires running through. This caused the wires to get pinched and short against the case.

Just check that your not damaging the wires with the screw that goes thru the hole that the wires feed thru

Dude it looks like yellow wire is touching point under it, next to soldered point.

The yellow wire is in a bad position. Maybe when you put it in the case it is shorting out to the point it is hovering over.

Pictures are a bit iffy TBH and you have WAY too much exposed wire! Trim it down to a 1/2 or 1/3 of what you currently have exposed and redo the soldering. Also, do not put any wire over a point where it may short out (like your yellow one is).

Manouvre the wire round so it comes in from the side and is not going over other points. If your PSU is going red, you have a short. That soldering is not up to scratch TBH mate, purely in the sense that there is too much esposed wire and the yellow one is going over a point that could EASILY short.

The problem is you may have already shorted the board with the yellow wire like that.

Seriously, you've done 60+ mods like that?

Like I said, you've just been lucky up til now. It was going to happen eventually.
