Hey guys,

I sold a customer a Slim Glitch Hacked running ggBuild 13604. At the time, the Original NAND had LDV values of 3 and 4, meaning that ggBuild was built with an LDV value of 4. I used 360 Multi Builder to do this.

About a month later (now), the customer comes back to me and says that it wont boot anything anymore except for Xell Reloaded. Once I had a chance to take a look at it, I have noticed that the LDV value of the console (Fuse Set 7) is 11, or has 11 Fs.

I then used 360 Multi Builder .7 to create a new xeBuild_14699 image, and in the options.ini file I set the LDV to 11. However, the console will still not boot to a dash. It has no issues booting Xell Reloaded in about 10-30s, but when trying to boot xeBuild, it just continuously makes the fan reset for as long as I have ever left it on.

Any ideas on what to do? Am I doing this wrong?

There's something seriously up here. LDV should never change unless an official MS update has been attempted. After the first attempt the LDV would have been wrong and prevented any further boots. I can't see a situation where the efuse would blow a further 6 times!

Start with the easy stuff - build a retail NAND and flash this back. Desolder the CR 3.3v and see if it boots.

OK well I did not try a retail image yet because my Nand-X appears to be doing the "No Flash Controller Detected" thing and I can no longer get it to work on any console ~_~

However, I did find out that the dash actually boots up fine if there is no DVD Drive and no Hard Drive connected to the slim. If either of these is connected, then it only boots xell. Any ideas here???

It must have been working with the DVD drive when it went to him, so I reckon he's been having a 'play'.

Up to you what you do of course, but I'd cease support from now on.
