HI all just got xbox slim gear of war model looking to flash the lit-on drive it on dash 2.0.14699.0,I done a few fats but never a slim so this be my first try what stuff do I need and what best way to do one not opened it up yet to find on what model Lit-on it is thanks all .

there is currently no way to tell this as far as i know
you have to open it up to be 100% sure
but the GoW model has 99% a DG16D5S drive and 100% a corona board

My suggestion would be don't attempt that hack but buy the unlocked replacement board from here http://www.xconsoles.com/products/liteon-dg-6d4s-unlocked-replacement-pcb.html

the kamikaze hack isn't for the faint-hearted, i wouldn't recommend you do it yourself unless you have read all the tutorials first and then still have no worries about killing the drive should you make a mistake.
You would be better off getting a pro modder to do it, or buy a tx replacement pcb.

If you are not gonna sell your original PCB, no harm in trying the Kamikaze before buying a replacement.[i.e. unlocked PCB]
