LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM Slim Liteon won't boot with game in dvd drive!

Hey all, I just came across something pretty strange..

Recently the xbox would give an open tray error, so after realigning the rails and replacing the laser (which also had to be pot tweaked a bit, factory set at 2.82k ohms and I now set it to 3.04k ohms)

The console now reads games again and plays them fine, however if a game is in the console and the console is shut off, if I try to start it up later you will hear some weird sounds coming from the dvd drive (it's struggling to read the disc it seems), the console will freeze at the Xbox 360 logo and not go to the dashboard until you eject the dvd drive. If no game is in the dvd drive it will boot just fine.

Any idea on what I should do? Pot tweak the laser even higher?

Is your xbox modded in any way or just stock. Have u tried different cables that connect to the dvd drive. Cant see the laser being the issue.

It's a weird issue for sure, I just had one yesterday do this to me. Tried a bunch of stuff, laser, motors, nand image, no go. It did start working again when I replaced the PCB though. First time that happened to me

It's flashed with LT+ 3.0 (has Unlocked TX replacement PCB v1.1)

What PCB did it have when the issue happened?

It was a stock board with LT flash that had this same problem, did the same thing with stock flash as well.
