RGH Slim no boot in the first try

My slim in the first try put a red led in the middle of the power button. i turned off and when turned on again it boot within 10 second. i installed the coolrunner like the tut. it delay some 20 seconds and i turned the switch to Phat and now boot in 5 and 10 seconds in the second try but sometimes it boot at first bad very slow.
any ideas to improve the time???

all you can do is play around with the blue wire length or position, post some pictures of your soldering please...

First measure the blue to 50cm, that's first cut. If no change the next is 47... Be earned though shortening the blue write too much will result in slower boot times. My slim pre cut wires, when I opened the package, the blue wire was 6cm over 50cm.

When you first turn it on it gives you a red light in ROL? Does it do this all the time?

Every Slim (or Phat) is not the same, it is realy something you need to (like seanr28 says) play around with the blue wire, cut it and test it.

the red light isnt all the time. i power on and if boot delay more than 20 seconds the red light came. is a red dot. i power off and power on again and it boots in less than 10 seconds, usually in less than 5. when i power on the console, usually the first time, and the count is 20 or more i give up because the red dot appear. never boot in more than 20 seconds.

I never cut the blue wire..just try to re-adjust the loop size.
Some slim will boot at 10 secs every time.

I have a pretty good success rate with the post boards just cut the blue wire to 8cm and solder it to the different points until you get what you like...

i try both configurations and the red dot still appear. i remake the freebot image with J-runner and the red dot disappear now. the first image was built with freebotmaker 2.9.1. i think the error was there.
