LITEON 0225 Slim Play DVD

Hi All

I kamikaze hacked my Slim 1071 DVD drive adn now when i place a original or backup game in it says Play DVD. If i select it i get the large XBOX 360 screen.

Thing is the drive sticker says FW 1071 but jungleflasher displays 0225. I have flashed with 1.92 on 0225U, 0225, 1071 and also stock 0225 and stock 0225U.

Anyone know what the issue is here or do i need a new PCB?

So i removed the PCB thinking i screwed the Kamikaze hack and installed a TX board and still same thing.

Any ideas?

doesnt look lik eyou locked the drive or outro a few times mate

also possibly your laser might be nuked

I actually think this could need a whole new firmware. Just like mislabeled 9504's needed the U firmware, Mislabeled 1071 might need something special. Weird story though mate

Yea, i didn't see you lock the drive on your JF log after outro! re-intro the drive and hold ctrl+alt+F11 to confirm spi lock ad you will see 0X08

I will try hooking back up tomorrow night and outra many times then lock SPI backup.

Its not the laser because it plays movies fine just not games.

ok i got it booting originals now at least and this is how i did it. I loaded the dummy.bin and spoofed to target the OFW.bin i created when Kamikaze unlocked then hit read button. Thank $#% for that.

Weird thing is with the 0225U mod installed i can boot original movies and backup movies but NOT original or backup 360 games because i got the Play DVD message. Remember my drive was labelled 1071 but JF reported 0225.

Mods i have tried installing L.T+ 1.92 on 0225, 0225U, 1071 for L.T.+1.91 0225 & 0225U. Even stocks directory would not work.

I dont know maybe this 1071 is like the 9504 mislabelled to 0225 creating the 0225U.bin

Im done with this just glad i got originals again and will wait for C$Eva to come through with the good once again with 2.0.

yeah i had this problem weirdly enough, with a standard 9504 no idea why in the end i got pissed off and ruined the board.
