slim problem will not always take backup

i've recentrly flashed a slim using the kamikaze method and when i put in my copy of forza 4 it worked well, but sometime its says "play dvd" and take it out, but my original copy in, loads the game, take it off and put backup in again and now its seeing it as a game...i've flashed many console before but this is the first time this happened to me have anybody encountered this?

Its the backup disc. How was it burned, on what media and brand, was it checked with Kprobe or.Discspeed?

i bought the xbox used so right after i got it a flashed it, and then tried to play backups but like the problem i mentionned, sometime it says "play dvd" and when i insert an original game sometime it works and sometime it freezes so at this moment i suspect the drive being faulty. anyone had a similar problem?

yeah its a dvd drive faulty that happened to me b4 in some slims,keep in mind any time you flash unplug all the ribons specially the laser ribons cause some people reported laser damaged after got their consoles flashed.
