hallo,
after alot of demon installs i finally had the same problem of red dot on retail nand
this console was already had RGH install on it with CR REV B on it
after i finished with the demon install i saw this red dot when i boot the stock nand- it wasnt consistant-only once in 2-3 boots
i tried BL4K3Y's solusion removing c15 and put the switch on slim- didnt work
the only thing that seems to work was to put the switch on phat-but the problem was the console didnt boot the glitch once the switch was on phat
i replaced the chip to CR REV C and it didnt work
i removed yet again the C15 jamper and the red dot still appeared
again only the PHAT switch solved the red dot problem but the console didnt glitched
finally i saw the CPU_RST was different from TX original wire
it was thiner and shorter- i changed it back to the original TX blue wire and problem solved
no red dot on retail nand and the console boot very fast and consistant
i believe the red dot problem is connected somehow with the CPU_RST resistant
hope this will help some of you
