ANSWERED Slim RGH Phat drive spoof

hello this is my first post so please go easy one me :smile:
i have a Slim RGH done by myself i have done a few phats also i have a fully working freeboot image and my RGH works fine... i stupidly got side tracked whilst preforming kamikazee hack:facepalm:
result drive is 'Cream Crackered' it was a 0225 i am wanting to put a phat drive into it, 2 days ago i had sammy MS28 working in it fine, h6owever, the freeboot image was corrupted slightly (if possible) as it would not boot into Xell/Xellious and sometimes failed to glitch etc.....
cut long story short..... im wondering if someone would be able to help me out i want to use the drive but i would like a more stable freeboot could anyone give me some pointers

The drive spoof diddnt corrupt your freeboot image. Post your pics up, im certain its your wiring.

hi thanks for the reply no no i must have explained wrong i have my glitched system working fine i was just wondering how to spoof a phat drive to my console i have been programming fine using my NAND X

You said that it was glitching always? Show us the glitch install pics

Spoffing would be the same as normally would be, nothing special

If the rgh is running you can just do a manual spoof and paste the good drive key to the drive;

what drive are you tryin to use in it.

For spoofing with rgh all you need is the dvd key btw. They dont look at drive type just key. So just paste key in and you should be good

everything is fine with the slim its just i heard that u need to use PIG'S freeBOOT toolbox to create an image capable of allowing you to use a Phat Drive spoofed into a slim i will show you some images of my install its working like i say.... just got me boggled on this drive spoofing etc

hopefully a sammy but i was spoofing it as a liteon 7 but manually spoffing my slim 0225 key

You just need to put the proper dvd key into that drive you are "spoofing" nothing fancy

yeah just the key needed,i used benq and phats in my slim.but i now got a 9504 in it at the moment.longest i kept a slim drive tbh lol.

Remake a freebooters image with your original NAND using one of the easy generators ie bestpig

did you actually read the rest of the thread
he's just replacing a slim with a phat drive..the others have told him how to do it...:crazy:
