hey guys, i encountered this stupid problem, which im trying to solve

both the POST_OUT and CPU_RST points were removed by mistake as the cable was pulled by mistake

anyway i encountered one last night and just use the alternative points and it worked

this one it wont at all, one thing though were should i point the alternative points to the motherboard, i dont want to glitch this board now and want it running normally

i removed everything now including qsb and coolrunner

only 2 cables are the post out and cpu rst from under the cpu/gpu, but its still rrod, what can i check for or what can i do , im messed up at the moment

On the bottom, where you pulled the little circle off CPU_RST, you might need to rejoin the trace to the point. If you can get a little solder to stick to the metal inside the hole through the motherboard on CPU_RST, then you can scrape back a bit of copper on the trace and connect it up with a short stub of wire (such as the wire end cut off a resistor).

i gave the board to some guy , after i gave up, i hope he figures that out if not i will post pics and try my ass on it, thx by the way for the hint, but i tried placing solder on the original cpu rst point it aint accepting any, but will try your suggestion, want to boot this damm box :S, the stupid thing is i didnt burn the trace, while soldering other cables i moved the board it got clinged to something on my desk and baam took the cable with the trace

Good luck with it, i'm sure it is fixable. If you put some flux directly on the hole where a bit of metal should be down inside it, you might get a little solder to stick.

Another backup option would be to run a wire from the bottom trace to the top side alternative point of CPU_RST.

It is well worth using a good bit of electrical tape to hold the wire in place next to these tricky solder points after they are connected, to prevent the cable from being yanked.

well actually the same issue happened to me yesterday, but was due to placing strong duct tape and i was trying to change the wire and it took it off, but managed to point the blue wire to the alternative and it worked, this time i dont knw why its not, but anyway i should be getting the result within the next hour as well as the board

will take a picture of the points and the alternatives in hope of help

thx guys
