Slim Trinity stopped going past Xb360 screen

Hey,

I have a problem with my xb360. I just played but by accident pressed DVD button (AGAIN). I've closed it but the LED dot was still blinking like reading disc but there was nothing inside. I've rebooted console and problem disappeared. I have to say that I never used the DVD, for 5 years I never inserted a single disc to it.

For some time I had to keep it turning on/off because it won't go through Xbox 360 screen. Sometimes it was 3rd of 5th time. If it went through and went to FSD then all was good and it never hanged. There was just problem with going from XBOX 360->FSD.

Now it doesn't launch even with 20 tries. It just goes to XBOX 360 white screen and don't go further. Can this be someway related to this "DVD glitch"? I don't have an idea what can be wrong. Pad and Cable are good.

If you have fsd on hard drive, unplug hdd and start xbox. It should go to nxt. If not i would assume it might be nand.

Fixed. FSD removed, installed aurora.

Also check hard drive for bad blocks. I was fixing some consoles with dying hdd. It starts to behave like this, then games starts freezing until hdd completely dies.

Okay but how? Xb360 disk connector is not compatible with laptop or PC. I also need some software that will find bad blocks in FATX FS?

Xbox hdd is compatible with pc. There is regular sata connection. But now I am not sure about it. But I think I was able to check hdd in hdtune.
