I am trying to help out a member on another forum so I apologize in advance if that is against the rules. He tried to make an account here but recv'd a message that the server is too busy. Here is his post. I have asked him for install pics.

Hi everyone, (_-BLACKOPS2-_)

Just wondered if anyone could give me some help with my demon install on a trinity console, this is a non 4gb trinity, I also have CR3 Pro installed.

I installed CR3 Pro first and managed to get CPU key and managed to create an RGH image and flashed to stock nand to test glitching to RGH.

After some messing around with dips, I managed to get really good boot times.

My settings listed below:

Trinity console (Non 4GB)
CPU_RST wire around 10cm to 22 pad on QSB V2
Dips on CR3 Pro set to 4 & 5 ON - All others OFF
Used Pro Rater feature to see glitch cycles - Gives consistent boot within a max of around
3 cycles, and shows a pro rater score of 10.00

So next day, I decided to hook up and install my demon to be able to boot dual nand.

Installed it, checked all QSB points with a multimeter 2 - 3 times, and also checked all
wiring with multimeter.

Also triple checked all ribbon cables from demon and cr3 pro, and tried reading and writing to stock nand and demon nand.

Can read stock nand and write to stock nand just fine, however when writing to demon nand I always get 1 Bad block. I have tried bad block remapping with the advanced feature in JRunner, and also tried writing nand to demon without remapping. Either way it writes the nand to demon, however will not glitch to the RGH nand on the demon.

My console boots stock nand just fine.

I also checked reading and writing to demon nand prior to installing, to test it, and it worked fine.

Checked CR3 Pro green light is flashing every so many seconds, as if trying to glitch, but it never glitches into the RGH nand on the demon?

could anyone with experience of installing CR3 Pro with demon please give any advice and help, as I tried for over 12 hours yesterday, troubleshooting, reading all tuts and guides from TX forums to try and resolve this.

I can't even post on TX forums, because I can't create an account, because there is always a message that pops up saying the servers are overloaded or some BS.

So I can't even get the support needed, when I require it, considering this is there product I purchased from them?

Sorry for the long post, but as you can appreciate, I am really frustrated with all of this. There is not even an official guide to install both cr3 pro with demon or one that accompanies both pieces of hardware, I have looked everywhere.

I am waiting for his response. Thank you all in advance for helping. I will post back when I get updated myself. Thank you all again!

Edit: He didn't know you could flash stock to Demon. He is doing so now and will pass on the results.

He has some soldering issues or a corrupt NAND. Have him double check the ribbon cable again as well.

UPDATE: i know its not the soldering because i have tested every point with a multimeter and i have triple checked the ribbon cables so i guess it must be a currupt nand

is there a intallation guide for installing the cr3 pro with the demon?

No there is no guide because it makes no difference. A CR is a CR as far as the demon is concerned. The install is exactly the same as with any other CR.

Have him read the stock NAND again and dump it directly to the demon.

Also be sure he is lifting the 5 V power to the CR when trying to boot stock from the CR.

UPDATE: What do you mean by disconnecting the 5v from the coolrunner? do you mean the small board which attatches to the coolrunner from the demon with CR EN point to CR EN point on the coolrunner 3 pro? Thanks

I think we should stop here. You're a middleman for a problem on a console when you yourself doesn't know what you're doing.

We have a template for RGH help - you MUST use this for information. Better still, get him to take it to the person who fitted the kit to begin with. If that person is him, locate someone local in our modding services pages and get them to fix the issue.

Either way, help by proxy does NOT work.

I did not claim to be an expert on the subject matter. I was just trying to help a community member on another forum. Being a proxy would be irrelevant if he was able to create his own account here. Thank you for those that were trying to help.

Understood, however pics, logs and full history should have been obtained before even opening a thread.

The worst thing we can do here is assume anything and make matters worse. The best thing you can do is advise the guy to send the console to a pro for resolution. This stuff needs you to know what you're doing. I fear this option won't even be considered.
