ok so heres the situation. i installed my coolrunner and my nand-x connections into my slim trinity. i read my nands and created my ecc image with j-runner, there was one bad block in both the reads tho, but j-runner seemed to handle the bad block well. anyway i have dashboard 14717 installed so i created the ecc before i knew there were some issues with that dashboard. but i installed the ecc and tried to boot, didnt boot so i figured i would re-install the original nand. with the original installed again i booted it back up to make sure it was still working. after that i put it up for the night, and the next day i pulled it out and tried to start it up again, flashed green lights and did the circle of leds and then it turned itself off. i tried again and all it did was beep, one more try, lights flash a little and then it turns off. now it just beeps, nothing else. i also cant read or write to the nand anymore, like its getting no power.
i have seen in other posts that i could short out my nand to clean it off and start over. but i don't know if thats best to do or not for this situation.

If it's not too much trouble, try pulling all your wiring just in case you've got a short somewhere you can't see. Noticed the repair on point B, looks okay but there's a chance that's shorting somewhere along the line, and without seeing the other end I can't tell you for sure. The issues you're having could definitely be related to your standby clock point though, so I'd just yank everything (carefully) and see if you can get it booted up.

Check your cool runner. It looks like the switch is still in PRG, change it it NOR
It's in PRG cause he's trying to boot a stock nand, and would obviously want the CR disabled. Either way setting that switch shouldn't cause the kind of problems he's having.

i belive its bridging on the orange stby_clk connection on a closer look, i had changed that connection to more match the install pics because it wasnt booting to xell. i had belived it was the highest change of failure because of the repair. im going to try fixing that one, ill show a closer pic.

Yeah, any time you get an RGH that won't boot the first thing to check is always stby_clk ;)

just a thought,if i was doing this repair.

clean the coolrunner up.

scrape the trace for the B pad.flux it and tin it.

next step cut the trace to the A pad as it aint used on a slim or rgh 2.

step 3 solder a strand of wire from the trace of the B point to the A pad.

no need to solder the orange wire to the chip then...

plus it would look cleaner..

just my view on it..

for slims just play whit cpu rst wire.
whats your blue wire length??
your soldering is not good.
is your soldering iron is 40w???

and finally for cpu rst on slim you shouldnt push it too even whit electrical tape.

I see you managed to lift a pad off the coolrunner board and have elected to solder directly to the chip. This is fine, but you need to use a much thinner wire as you could be creating inductance if the points are now too close together. Failing that, if any of the trace is still there, just expose and solder to that instead. A pic of your STBY_CLK soldering would also be handy here.
