RGH Slim won't boot to Xell

Not having any luck with RGH at the moment. Everything is installed right, I even took everthing off and tried and started again with a new coolrunner. Created ecc with multi builder and jtag tool. It is trying to glitch as I can hear the fan speed altering slightly, Debug Led flashes but all I get is a blank screen.

It's gonna be the CPU RST wire if anything. Might be picking up noise from elsewhere.

Desolder the wire from the chip and make sure it's nowhere near the 3.3v cable.

I tend to elevate the 3.3v cable slightly as I find it boots better like this.

Failing all of this, lop 5cm off the CPU_RST length.

I would try looping it round the top and see what you get from that, i found that help for me as glitch timing improved on my slim.

lol better than my typing then :)

I very lightly coil the wire. I'm tempted to buy some super-shielded cable and run that instead. I swear it's interference!

F**K me, thats it, working.
Same thing happened to me, I thought the NAND ecc image might not have been working. Moving the wire made it glitch. It still took a minute or two to glitch though.

I found that cutting 10cm off the CPU_RST wire and moving it far away from any coils on the other side of the motherboard has brought it down to 5-15 seconds for most boots.

That's nice for you.

Of course, you not asking for help on someone else's thread, are you?

unravel the CPU_RST wire. Might br too tightly wound.
I sincerely want to thank you for your time, patience, insight, and your overall dedication.. after 8hrs 46 min I simply unwound the wire and BOOOOoooooooommm!

The slim that I have been working on booted to xell..

Once again, Thank you!

Stats:
5 jasper RGH (no problem)
2 Falcon RGH (no problem)
3 Slim RGH (1st slim no problem boots within 1 min or so, 2nd Slim Dead, only beeps, pads have been lifted by owner, 3rd slim after 8hrs 46min boots in less than 1 min)

Bound copper wire will always make its own electro-magnetic field, however slight.

Its the main form of electrical creation used in most gas/coal power stations. Also for radio receivers.
