Hey guys, looking for some help with my Slim which won't glitch anymore after it was working just fine for about 2 months. So I had my Xbox slim installed with coolrunner since mid January and system was working perfectly, I even updated it to the latest software. A few days ago it stopped working but I have no idea why, I'll post some pictures of the work that was done and a video showing you guys what happens. Also I did just try to trim down the blue wire since I read it could help but it didn't work. Thanks for the help

I would shorten the unprotected part of the orange wire (STBY_CLK)...

But altogether this looks like a very clean install, if not the cleanest install I've seen pictures of to me!

I'll try that and props goes to the guy who installed it for me.

Have you tried with the coolrunner switch set to slim?
Yes I tried that but didn't work.

Check the Yellow and Blue wire on the hole for wire chafing/damage - where they go into back of the motherboard.

I had similar problem - the blue wires isolation was damaged and the box didnt glitch..

Hope it will solve your problem.

Hi.
I think this is most likely due to the blue wire on the bottom of the board it may have moved slightly.
Try wrapping some electrical tape round it to insulate it more

Make sure CR is set to NOR ... and did this happen directly after you updated or it was working just fine and suddenly not?

It is set to NOR and it was working fine after the update, it stopped working out of no where.

Will do, thanks

Check to see if it boots with a stock image and/or create a new Glitch image incase of corruption.

I'll double check that now. Thanks guys for all the tips/advice, I'm going to give them a try and report back.

you might have a cold joint problem on cpu reset...the wire just sits on top of the test point with minimal solder, instead of the tip being encapsulated in solder like on the other points.

If you have a nandx I think you should rebuild your image and flash.

Nice catch, I did resolder that point but didn't work but thanks for pointing that out since it may cause issues later on.

Trimming the cpu_rst wire could enhance your boot times

Also try setting CR to phat it sometimes enhances the boot times as well
