hi everybody im ne here and also new to the orld of RGH R-JTAG aaaanyway i took my xbox 360 arcaade with a 120go HDD to someone to install RGH
(my xbox is flashed LT2.0) the dude tell me that i have to pay for the flash to 3.0 and the glitch work so my question is this does my xbox need to be flashed in order to use THE RGH ???????????????

if your planning to use burned discs on the rgh then yes ull still need drive flashed.rgh and drive flashing are 2 diff things,and require 2 diff processes.

no and yes I would flash it to the lastest firmware so I can play my latest back -ups of the games I own/ what is he charging usually everyone flashes the drives for free at least I do it since I have the console tooken apart anyways

Taking the console apart and taking the drive apart are two separate things (if the drive requires disassembly). Requires time to flash so to me that's $. Just my two cents but I dont think he's ripping you off (depending on how much he's asking).

mmmmmm thanks but all my backups are LT 2.0 does the LT2.0 games work on LT 3.0


BUT i thought that ith the rgh i can run ISOs directly without patching them or burning them ...so can someone explain please

You dont play ISOs (and watch where you're headed with your questioning). You will have to rip your games to hdd (in either GOD or extracted format - you can use FSD to extract games).

With RGH it's very easy. You install the game just like you would through the MS dash and play it, or through FSD and play it. Bottom line, you insert original disc in console and rip it, then you can take the disc out and still be able to play from hdd.

the point is when you RGH the console, you dont have to physically open the drive to do a PMT dump for the key and drive stuff, you already have it all in the NAND dump....

just build aLT image and patch the dvd key in from JR and flash to drive without having to touch it!!

I would update to LT+3.0, and if you are having a demon/dual nand setup installed it is worth installing LT+3.0, as you will still need it to play on live.
