Hey, I got a 1.6 xbox, with the x3. I got to the blue flash screen, and flashe through a cd xecuter 3294 bios. I got the yellow then green and it turned off. The switches were on on off off off. Seemed good, until i started it again, it turns red, then dies, turns on again with a blue light, dies, turns on, and stays on but the xbox is fragging, but the chip is blue, and i have no output, sound or video, but if i turn al the swithces off, i go back to the flash screen. my harddrive is unlocked, and i cant disable the chip, for it wont work, regardless of whether the hdd is locked, it just frags. but what the deal with the chip on and still fragging and no output?? need some serious help, too close to quit

I think it's a bad flash. Boot to FlashBIOS and set switches to on on off off off.

Make sure you're flashing the v16 version of the BIOS. Once it's switched off, try booting it.

G'day,

Use whatever switch setting works to get you into flashbios. Then once it's running, change the switches to a 1mb bank. on on off off off is as good as any. Flash the v16 version like Martin said. The file is called x3_3294_v16plus.bin

Flash that like you did the last one and all should be hunky dory.
