soderless adapter question

hi im new and a bought a xecuter 2.6 and a soderless adapter, this soderless adapter has 5 wires parts, but i was wounder if i just put in the do point wire or all of since i dont have a 1.6?

if its for a v1.6 xbox and you have v1.0 to v1.5 xbox you have the wrong solderless
should have this one

but if the part were the 0d wire is is removeble from rest of solderless just use that as in this pic

but it says its a soderless adapter for v1.0-1.7 and i ordered this

to me it look like the part that has the 0d wire is the bit you use and the rest you toss over your sholder just screw it to mother board it the black peace should unplug from white peace with other wires

no, the black peace does not come off of the white peace, i had a V1.0 and i broke it trying to put this oni know it was most likey a very easy fix and im pretty sure i know what i did wrong but that doesnt matter, the thing is when i screwed it on and only worried about the do point wire and wraped a lil tape around the other wires it the chip would only light up and when i move the adapter around, just jiggled it a lil and one light would light up on the chip and the switch lights would light up, any idea why the other light didnt light up


edit im scared to try it on my new used xbox beacus i fear ill break it

actully maybe it did work beacuse the holes were sodered on my V1.0, should i try it on my new xbox?

(i cant find the edit button)ok so i opened it up and a have a version 1.1 and my holes are filled, i put oin the adapter and when i turn on the xbox the chip flashes opn and off once and when i turn off the xbox it flashes on and off once

Clean the LPC bus with a stiff eraser to make sure you are getting good contact.

i will try the cleaning thing in a little bit, but first i must know if the LAD0, LAD2, LAD3,and LFRAME are important(the LAD1 lights up when d0 is connected)

ok i did the ereaser cleaning and now the chip light doesnt flash

you need the right solderless for it to work your using a v1.6 solderless on a v1.1 xbox get the right part or solder it in

so dose the spice solderless but you only use the black part and the rest go,s in the bin for v1.0 to v1.5 xboxs so if you can not remove that from your solderless what do you do show me howtoo install pic

mate the solderless are a pain in the butt if you read the post in forum a lot on the solderless comeup but the xpt3r is a better solderless have use spice to install xenium in v1.6 xbox and like it but have not use with a x3 if i get time i will try install with x3 or x2 but soldering is the best way to go
if anyone has used spice for x3 chip on v1.6 xbox let me know how it whent

well what do you know the soderless adapter does come apart,i fell so dumb, but it still doesnt work. maybe it beacuse the holes where the pin header go are filled, what sould i do?
