Hi all,

Ok, i have just been given a falcon 360 by a mate to have a little play with.
Console has never had any modifications whatsoever and when you turn it on after 30 seconds or so it RROD with no video or audio.
I'm assuming that it isnt a hardware problem as th4 lad who gave it to me said it was working fine until "it took a bad update"
I am pretty good with all Jtaggin, RGH and drive flashing so getting this going shouldnt be a problem, the only thing i am not sure about it the actual flashing and creation of a new nand.
I have read so many tuts but nothing definatley points to this problem and how to fix it as most seem to be having this problem after been jtagged or rgh.
I have shed loads of falcon nand dumps and their CPUKEY.
can someone tell me exeaxtly what program i need so that i can make a new nand to flash back to the nand and if it is possible. what will be the most efficient way to get this thing going.
I have some coolrunners coming on Monday with the intention to install one in this machine once and if i can get it working.

any help would be very much appreciated

Whats the secondary error code?

When the RROD appears, hold sync and press eject 4 times. Each time taking note of how many lights are showing in the ring. Then you will have a 4 digit secondary error code and will know what is causing the RROD.

for someone pretty good with jtag and rgh you do't know a lot about them. creating the nand is basic jtag rgh stuff. consoles do not rrod from failed updates so your mate is lying. anotyher thing is if it takes around 30 seconds to rrod thats 99% of the time broken traces or cpmponents removed from the board from bodge repairs. no amount of nands or cpu keys will help you unless you are transplanting the cpu they belonging with to the board you are on about. again this is basic jtag rgh knowledge.

garageinc i have asked for some help on this matter and all you can reply is with some sh*tty remark.
I can jtag and install rgh it is pretty straight forward but from what i am reading elsewhere the method of doing this is different from what i know.
why is there always some widge that has to be a smart arse.
I will go elsewhere

well if you knew what you claim you would know the cpu key needs to match in the nand image so without the cpu key for your console you can do nothing. like i said this is basic jtagging rgh knowledge which you display none of in your post. no one will miss you here i assure you and good luck in your pointless search elsewhere.

how far up your own arse are you. I am a member of many forums more so in the hunting fraternity and there are bellends like you on all of them.
All I have done is come to ask for some advice that i am inexperienced in.
And when i say pretty good at rgh and so on i mean i am competant and have done half a dozen for a few mates that have all worked and they are happy with it.
I understand exeactly what i have to do with regards to running a hacked dash. But from what i read this was slightly different and required different steps. I havent used donor nands or built them and i was asking one simple question and all i wanted was a simple answer and Dosk3n obviously tried to help me out. If you havent got anything constructive to say then why say it?
I am trying to learn a bit of a hobby and require some help on something i am unsure of and dont need a sh*tty response from someone who probably sits at home pulling one off over his xbox.


Dosk3n it has sec error code 0022. The lad who gave it to me has assured me it happened after a system update. It has never been repaired before nor is damaged in anyway.

your an obvious clueless idiot as with the latest multibuilder and the CPU key i keep telling you that you need you can build a working retail dash with guess what, the most widely used and available image builder out there.
