solder help

i just got me a xbox from my dad and an xecuter 2.6ce chip from my mum and ive already got a solderin iron its a 1.6 xbox and i dont know how to solder at all plz help is there any other way to fit it whithout buyin an adaptor i tried solderin but it dosnt stick down it just burns it alot plz post to help ive looked at all the lessons and they didnt help could u help me by postin in some pics on how to solder or vid

You post would be a lot easier to read if you would have bothered to use punctuation, not to mention people would take you a little more seriously.

Learning on your Xbox is not the way to learn to solder. You should get an old board out of a computer or something like that and practice. You don't want to apply heat for more than a few seconds in a single spot, or you will cause damage. What wattage is your iron? Do you have flux? What kind of solder do you have?
